iTunes 10.5.3 allows you to sync interactive iBooks textbooks to your iPad. These Multi-Touch textbooks are available for purchase from the iTunes Store on your Mac or from the iBookstore included with iBooks 2 on your iPad.

iBooks textbooks are created with iBooks Author — now available as a free download on the Mac App Store.

iPhone cases that self heal when scratched

Yes, we thought this sounded crazy when we said it out loud, but Nissan have created a self healing paint technology that when applied to an iPhone case will heal itself if scratched. It is said that minor scratches take about an hour to heal and larger damage can take up to a week.

HOW? we hear you cry! Well the polyrotaxane based paint never really dries but will not mark any surface, nor does it feel wet. Amazing!

We will be keeping an eye out for this one for sure when it may be released later this year.

Moo integrates with Facebook so you can create business cards from your Timeline

The amazing Moo have struck a deal with Facebook to create business cards out of your Timeline profile pictures.

You can already create cards from your Facebook photo albums but Moo is integrated directly inside Facebook and this is where the process starts. Facebook’s 800m users Timelines will have a link to let you instantly create personalised business cards. You can use your profile picture, cover photo, quotes and other personal details.

Instagram now posts full size pictures to your Facebook timeline

Good news guys, the amazing Instagram has now made it so that you can post full size Instagram pics to your Facebook and Timeline.

Once configured an album named “Instagram photos” will be created. You can even share past photos by following these simple instructions:

This is a smart move by Instagram as they have now extended their reach to a potential 800 million active users. Of these users on average, more than 250 million photos are uploaded per day.

Turn Off Importance Markers in Gmail

Don’t use Gmail’s priority inbox? Fed up of seeing the importance markers? Well here is how you turn them off!

In Gmail go to Settings > Inbox
Click the No markers radio box
Now click the Save Changes button

Then you’re all done!
