Push Notifications For Google Mobile App Now Available

Google have released push notification for its Mobile Application.  Here is the official press release from Google:

The new version supports push notifications for Gmail and Google Calendar.  Alerts can be refined to sound off at certain times of the day.

There is also improved search-as-you-type that will recognise certain queries and provide the intended results in real time. Currency values, flights, stock quotes and weather will all show in live results.

Google Mobile App is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod but is not available in every country yet.
