Gmote turns your Android Phone into a PC Remote

Gmote icon - Ongoing Issues ImageGmote are now offering Android users the ability to add this, useful?, App to your device.  With Gmote you can control your PC’s music, videos and even browse the file system.  You can also your device as a Keyboard and Mouse.

There is a three step download procedure.  This includes loading the Gmote software on both your device and desktop/laptop.  It will work with Mac, Linux and Windows and you will also need to install VLC:

Droid X virtual keyboard for Android 2.1

Virtual keyboards might be sometimes hard to use because you can only use one button at the time and this is the main reason why people prefer multitouch virtual keyboard which the Motorola Droid X does have. It’s a lot easier and faster to use multitouch keyboard because you can press and hold shift key if you want to use uppercase letters. It feels more natural and it’s quite similar to the standard keyboard. All Android OS users will be happy to hear that Motorola Droid X virtual keyboard is available for Android phones as well.

Apple have released their latest OS X update 10.6.4.  Here are the details:
