Keep your Subtitles in sync

If you download subtitle files, STR, and you have a problem with the syncronisation then we have just the thing for you.  EndlessSubtitles.com allows you to paste the STR file into a box and then specify the amount of time that the titles are out by.  For example, they may be 2 seconds out.  Specify this and it will update the timecodes within the text.  You then paste the updated text back over and there you have it.

You can find Endless Subtitles here:

Firefox Home For iPhone Approved

Firefox home icon - Ongoing Issues ImageWe previously reported that Firefox Home was on the way, well it has now been approved by Apple and will now be available in the App Store.  Remember, this is no browser but a syncing tool for your Firefox bookmarks, history, and even more impressive tabs that you have open on your PC’s Firefox browser.

We think this is a going to be a really great app for all hardcore Firefox fans, but will leave the average user disappointed, may be expecting more.

gTasx App – Sync your Google Tasks with Android

We love Google products and we must say we like the Google Tasks feature but also love using it offline when we can.  Well now Android have a great little app called gTasx which allows you to access your Google Tasks without using the browser.  They are describing it as a wrapper, but let’s you switch between tasks with ease.  You can download it from here:

doubleTwist support for Android now released

doubleTwist Logo Ongoing Issues pictureAfter a long wait doubleTwist has now release support for Android.  Some are reporting it as iTunes for Android, but I know that could possibly upset quite a number of people in the community.

The interesting thing is that this is the first App that double twist have created that is an App for the device itself.  It is called doubleTwist Player (get it now as it is free for a limited time).  Here is QRCode:

The desktop client is completely free and will stay that way.

This improves integration of your audio and video, you can import your iTunes playlists, ratings and play counts if you are making the switch.  Full sync is also offered for you audio and video podcasts.  There are future updates planned offering even more functionality.

This is a great addition to the community and makes the Android market an even stronger contender in the media phone market.
